West Ham United agreement in place to sign Ibrahim Osman, Nordsjaelland stance shared – Fabrizio Romano
Nordsjaelland winger Ibrahim Osman and his agent have agreed personal terms with West Ham, but the clubs cannot agree on a fee.
That is according to Fabrizio Romano, with the journalist reporting on X on Sunday (28 January) that the Danish club have rejected a bid of more than €18million (£15.4million).
The 19-year-old attacker has registered four goals and five assists from his 29 appearances in all competitions this season.
Right time to join
Osman certainly sounds eager to join West Ham, and nobody could blame him, with the Hammers really going strong this season.
The East London outfit currently occupy sixth place in the Premier League table, and are into the knockout stages of the Europa League.
And as shown by the likes of Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus, it is an exciting time to be an attacker at West Ham.
The trio have been superb in all competitions this season, with the defensive actions of the likes of James Ward-Prowse and Edson Alvarez allowing the attackers to express themselves in the final third.
Fellow midfielder Kalvin Phillips has also arrived this month to shore up that area of the pitch, with the England international joining on loan from Manchester City.
But with the futures of a handful of Hammers forwards uncertain, perhaps now is the time for David Moyes to recruit another attacker.
Said Benrahma, Danny Ings and Divin Mubama could all be heading for the exit door at the London Stadium, potentially this month or in the summer.
In other West Ham news, bids have been made for a South American Hammers player, with a last-gasp January exit on the cards.
