Sky Sports share West Ham United transfer news on Youssef En-Nesyri
West Ham are still hopeful of signing Youssef En-Nesyri but will move on to other targets if a deal cannot soon be agreed with Sevilla quickly, according to Sky Sports.
The Irons are in the process of finalising the signing of Ajax ace Mohammed Kudus [Dharmesh Sheth], but they are not finished there in terms of their transfer activity.
Sky Sports reported on their transfer blog on Thursday [24 August, 11:07] that Sevilla’s En-Nesyri remains a target for David Moyes’ men, although that could soon change.

“West Ham are getting encouragement the player wants to join but will move on to other targets if a deal cannot be agreed with Sevilla quickly,” the update read.
Exciting times
It is set to be an exciting conclusion to the transfer window for West Ham, who have spent the past couple of weeks replenishing their squad after losing some first-team regulars – skipper Declan Rice among them.
Edson Alvarez, James Ward-Prowse and Konstantinos Mavropanos have all arrived at the London Stadium, and it is looking increasingly likely that Kudus will be the fourth signing over the line.
That would make for a positive window from the Hammers’ perspective – or as positive as could be after saying goodbye to Rice – yet they are still working on at least one more deal.
En-Nesyri is a different type of player to Kudus, so it makes sense that it is not one or the other from West Ham’s perspective.

With just eight days to go until the window closes, it appears that United are now waiting on Sevilla to give a response as to how much En-Nesyri would cost.
Should the two sides be well apart in terms of their respective valuations, the Hammers will still have time to hone in on the next target on their list.
After a disappointing first half to the summer, it is now an exciting time to be a West Ham fan again.
