ExWHUEmployee shares brand new West Ham United update on Mohammed Kudus transfer
West Ham are likely to resume talks over a move for Mohammed Kudus as they are only £3-5million off meeting the valuation set by Ajax, according to ExWHUEmployee.
The Athletic’s David Ornstein reported on Sunday [20 August] that United had an offer rejected by Ajax for the Ghana international.
However, amid suggestions the Hammers are now ready to look elsewhere for an alternative, ExWHUEmployee believes a fresh offer for Kudus could be imminent.

“At this stage, no deal has been agreed, although it’s understood that the gap currently is around £3-5m,” he said on The West Ham Way Patreon page on Monday [21 August].
“A difference of that kind of figure would usually get sorted, whether it be meeting somewhere in the middle, or adding in clauses or maybe paying fees in a shorter period of time.
“I would say as of now it’s unlikely that the deal is off, and I would say it is likely that talks will resume with a revised bid being submitted.
“As we have seen previously with West Ham, it could be that we explore alternative targets, however, this could be a tactic to help speed up talks with Ajax for securing a deal for Kudus.”
Roller coaster
It is perhaps no coincidence that West Ham were linked with a fresh £35m move for Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesyri on Monday 21 August [Toby Cudworth].
As pointed out by ExWHUEmployee, this may well be a deliberate ploy by the club to speed up negotiations with Ajax.
Alternatively, it could be a genuine approach from United, who are eager to bring in another attacker – regardless of whether Lucas Paqueta stays – before the 11 pm deadline on 1 September.

While David Moyes would ideally have one of the two in his squad for next weekend’s Premier League trip to Brighton & Hove Albion, West Ham will no doubt remain patient to ensure they get the best possible deal.
The Kudus transfer saga has been a bit of a roller coaster thus far, with a deal off and then on again.
This latest update does provide encouragement, though, and with En-Nesyri offering a potential safety net of sorts if talks with Ajax become dead in the water, West Ham find themselves in a strong position.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers may look to move on a first-team player before the transfer window closes.
