West Ham talks underway for new signing, it’s bad news for Edson Alvarez
West Ham are already in talks over potential summer signings.
Graham Potter faces a huge task to overhaul the squad that he inherited from Julen Lopetegui and Tim Steidten when he replaced the former in January.
The Hammers have little to aim for in terms of their Premier League campaign, so it makes sense for summer plans to be accelerated.

West Ham open Jashari agent talks
Midfield is an area where the London Stadium outfit need recruits, as their current options in the engine room have underwhelmed.
A report from ExWHUEmployee, via The West Ham Way (13 May) claims that talks have taken place between the Hammers and the agent of Switzerland international Ardon Jashari.
It states that the Irons also hold an interest in the 22-year-old’s Club Brugge teammate Joel Ordonez.

Edson Alvarez could lose out after West Ham talks
Alvarez is a polarising figure in East London, he has failed to nail down a starting berth since his £35million move from Ajax but has clear potential to improve.
The Mexico international has failed to convince Potter that he is good enough to start on a weekly basis for the Hammers, and faces an uncertain future as a result.

The midfield will be a key aspect of Potter’s rebuild in the summer and a potential deal for Jashari could spell disaster for the 27-year-old, with German and French clubs interested in his services, the most prominent being Borussia Dortmund.
Former Irons star Martin Allen told West Ham Zone that the Mexican star could fetch a fee of £10million, which would be a significant loss for the E20 outfit, but represents how poor he has been since he joined and would allow Potter to reinvest in new additions.
The former Club America man was a regular in the Champions League with the Dutch giants but has failed to adapt to the English top-flight, with his mobility being the biggest issue in the middle of the pitch.
An exit makes sense for both parties, and given the Irons’ latest transfer activities, it could very well be on the cards sooner rather than later.
