West Ham set to sign Brian Kinnear after Rangers release
West Ham are set to sign young goalkeeper Brian Kinnear after a successful trial period in East London, according to ExWHUemployee.
Writing via his Patreon page, the reliable Hammers insider reported that Kinnear, 20, has been on trial with the club for the last couple of weeks.
And after impressing at West Ham, it is understood that after being released by Rangers at the end of last season, the Scotland Under-21 international is now set to be scooped up by the Irons.

One for the Under-23s
It’s very unlikely that Kinnear will be joining up with David Moyes’ senior squad in East London.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper left Rangers at the end of last season without ever getting into one of their matchday squads.
He’s only ever earned two senior appearances in his career too after spending part of last season on loan at Scottish League Two club Alloa Athletic.
While playing in Scotland’s fourth-tier, Kinnear made just two first-team appearances for Alloa, spending the bulk of his loan spell on the bench.
His two appearances were in a league defeat to Queen’s Park and a Scottish Cup defeat to Formartine, who are one league below Alloa.
Kinnear saved two penalties in a penalty shoot-out loss against Formartine but that’s pretty much all there is to say to big up this young player, who was also banned last season for breaching COVID protocols.
As reported by BBC Sport. Kinnear was among five Rangers players who attended a party in February that broke social distancing rules in Scotland.
Kinnear will have no doubt learned his lesson from that mistake but he’s done well for himself to win a deal at West Ham.
Let’s hope the past can stay in the past and he can really press on here.
