West Ham set to sign Adler Nascimento from Peterborough
West Ham are in the hunt to sign young Peterborough striker Adler Nascimento, according to ExWHUemployee.
Nascimento, 16, made his first-team debut for Peterborough in League One last season when he came off the bench in a 4-1 win over Doncaster in May.
The Portuguese teenager has been playing for the Posh’s Under-18s side since the age of 15 but now looks as though he’s attracting big attention from West Ham, who want to take the youngster on trial.

Speaking to the West Ham Way podcast on Patreon, the ever-reliable ExWHUemployee said: “Another player we’re looking at with the view to signing him is a guy called Adler Nascimento, who is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Peterborough United.
“He’s likely to be on trial ahead of signing permanently.
“He scored the winning goal to clinch the title for Peterborough’s academy side and apparently he’s very highly recommended, according to a couple of people I’ve spoken to on him today.”

Not a lot is known about Nascimento as he’s only just started to break into the Peterborough first-team.
However, for him to be playing Under-18s football at the age of 15 and senior football at the age of 16, it says a lot about how dramatically quick he’s developing.
West Ham’s academy is easily one of the best in the country but that doesn’t mean we should ignore young talent that is rising through the ranks at other teams in England.
Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony, speaking on his Hard Truth Podcast earlier this year, shared just how much of a prospect Nascimento is.
MacAnthony claimed “every club in the Premier League” has wanted to sign the Portuguese sensation, saying Brighton and Wolves are among four clubs who’ve put in derisory bids.
While it remains to be seen how much the Hammers are paying for Nascimento, MacAnthony did say he wants more than £500,000 for the up-and-coming striker.
Based on what we’ve found out about him and based on the recommendation ExWHUemployee has had, any fee around that would be an absolute bargain.
In other West Ham news, the Irons have made a loan bid for this international striker.
