West Ham set to announce third January transfer with deal ‘closed’, medical next

West Ham have acted swiftly to give Nuno Espirito Santo what he needs in the January market.

David Sullivan has already spent money on Taty Catsellanos and Pablo this window, with the pair arriving at the London Stadium for a combined fee of £47.7million.

Attack was a key area that Nuno wanted to upgrade in the window, as Sullivan appears to be granting his wishes tenfold.

West Ham have been tracking Keiber Lamadrid from Venezuelan side Deportivo La Guaira, as the Hammers are now very close to completing their third signing of the January transfer window.

West Ham finalise agreement for Keiber Lamadrid

According to credible journalist Uriel Lugt on Monday, the Hammers have now “closed” the signing of Lamadrid.

The 22-year-old appears to be headed for E20 on a loan deal that will see the winger stay until the end of the season, with a buy option included.

The player has been given the green light to undergo a medical in Paris, where, upon completion, West Ham will soon confirm the signing.

The forward is believed to have wanted the move and is looking forward to the opportunity to play in the Premier League.

Lamadrid move closes West Ham door for Adama Traore transfer

Lamadrid will be coming to the London Stadium on the back of an impressive individual season, which will only help Nuno in the Hammers’ push for Premier League survival.

West Ham have been linked with a swoop for Adama Traore, who has been struggling for first-team action with Fulham this campaign.

However, the Irons will most likely back away from any type of transfer for Traore, with Lamadrid set to offer Nuno versatility on both flanks.

Lamadrid’s season with Deportivo La Guaira has run from throughout 2025, but he will need to gain match fitness quick having not played since November.

Traore would have demanded high wages and a possible transfer fee, as Lamadrid seems like a more sensible option for the Hammers to make, all things considered.
