West Ham set to announce Armstrong Okoflex signing after Celtic contract expires
West Ham are set to announce the signing of young Irish forward Armstrong Okoflex after he was left Celtic, according to ExWHUemployee.
Okoflex, 19, joined Celtic from Arsenal in 2018, signing a three-year contract.
However, there has been no news about Okoflex’s contract situation at Celtic Park and it now seems as though he’s set to join the Hammers.

“We have signed one player, I think he’s due to be announced soon and the guy is called Armstrong Okoflex, which is a quality name,” said Ex on the latest episode of the West Ham Way podcast on Patreon.
“He plays for Celtic and he’s a former Arsenal youth player.
“He’s actually played a couple of times for Celtic. He was born in Dublin and started out in one of the country’s famous academies St Kevin’s Boys.
“Then Liam Brady spotted him for Arsenal, brought him over and then he signed for Celtic on a three-year deal.
“He’s actually played for Celtic, he made his first-team debut for the club as a substitute against Hibernian in January 2021.
“But I believe his contract is up and I think he’s going to be coming over to West Ham, which will be interesting because he’s already played a couple of times for Celtic so he’s going to have some calibre.”

Highly-rated teenager
Everything about Okoflex sounds good.
He was developed at one of the top academies in Ireland, went a further step at Arsenal, made a senior debut at Celtic and now is reportedly set to join West Ham.
He’s been on some journey so far and we expect to see Okoflex playing for our Under-23s next season and potentially pushing for a spot in the first team.
Okoflex played twice for Celtic last season, appearing as a substitute in their Scottish Premiership matches against Hibs and Livingston back in January.
As he made his first-team bow for the Bhoys, Italian media was reporting that Torino and Bologna had become interested in the Dublin-born forward, who can play as a striker or a left-winger [Tuttomercatoweb].
Crystal Palace were also linked with Okoflex [AllNigeriaSoccer] so it seems as though West Ham have done well to win the race for the young attacker who’s been capped at youth level for both England and Ireland.
In other West Ham news, the Irons have made a loan bid for this international striker.
