West Ham ready to take huge loss on Felipe Anderson, offer him to Lazio
West Ham have offered Felipe Anderson back to Lazio “in the past few hours” as they prepare to take a major hit on the Brazilian, according to CalcioMercato.
The Italian football website claims the Hammers are ready to let Anderson, 28, leave on a permanent basis this summer.
It is understood the Brazilian has been made available for just £6.8million when just three years ago, the Irons paid £36million [BBC] to sign him from Lazio.

Yet another waste of money
West Ham’s big-money signings rarely work out.
Anderson is someone who we really hoped would shine at the London Stadium but the Brazilian attacker impressed more with his tacking statistics than his playmaking ones.
In his 73 appearances for the Hammers, Anderson has scored 12 goals and supplied 13 assists. They’re not the worst numbers in the world but they’re underwhelming and at the end of the day, David Moyes simply doesn’t fancy the one-time Brazil international and isn’t opposed to him leaving.

After seeing what happened to him on loan at Porto last season, we wouldn’t mind seeing his back too.
Anderson played just 10 times on loan at Porto last season as he struggled with severe form issues and failed to get in the good books of manager Sergio Conceicao.
If Lazio want to take him off our hands then they’re welcome to him and considering the valuation of the player who was once our record signing, they might as well as they know he can perform well in Italy.
In other West Ham news, the Irons have made a bid for this international striker.
