West Ham ready bid to sign Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic
West Ham “will make a bid” to sign Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic before David Moyes turns his attention towards signing a striker, according to The Sun.
The newspaper claims Milenkovic, 23, is available for just £14million as he’s in the final year of his contract at the London Stadium.
It is understood that the Irons have turned their attention towards the Serbia international after missing out on Chelsea’s Kurt Zouma.

Get this done ASAP – we need a striker
It seems strange that West Ham are prioritising a move for a centre-back before a striker.
Moyes does need additions in both areas of his squad but after selling Sebastien Haller in January and using the injury-prone Michail Antonio as the club’s only striker from then on, you would imagine that adding in that area would be more important.
Still, we do need to add to the back with Fabian Balbuena’s exit at the end of last season leaving Moyes’ options not only light but also ageing.

Craig Dawson and Angelo Ogbonna are both on the wrong side of 31 while the only other senior option is Issa Diop.
Milenkovic is younger than all of them at 23 and as he’s in the final year of his contract at Fiorentina, a deal for him seems to be good value.
The former Partizan Belgrade defender has 121 appearances to his name in Serie A, as well as 28 caps for Serbia.
He may be relatively young but he has plenty of experience playing in a top European league and could be really good addition at the London Stadium.
In other West Ham news, the Irons have turned their attention to signing this Ligue 1 centre-back after failing to land Kurt Zouma.
