West Ham ready Abraham transfer after early Evan Ferguson twist
West Ham are eyeing a summer transfer move for Tammy Abraham after a new twist over the future of Evan Ferguson.
Graham Potter is still adapting to life in East London but it hasn’t been the easiest of rides, especially with minimal transfer movement in the winter window.
With Jarrod Bowen injured at the time as well as Michail Antonio and Niclas Fullkrug being out, the Hammers did secure the loan signing of Evan Ferguson from Brighton.
West Ham in the market for a striker again
Potter has just one West Ham win under his belt since arriving at The London Stadium meaning there is still plenty of work that needs to be done.
With Bowen now fit again at West Ham, this is a big boost for the manager but he will also be hoping to see Ferguson get off the mark.
Signing the striker from Brighton on loan for the season made sense with Potter having tasted success together at the AMEX Stadium.
However, even if the striker gets into goal-scoring form that would make him popular with the Hammers, a permanent deal is said to be unlikely already.
TBR Football has reported that Roma striker Abraham could be the answer to that though, with a possible move already on the cards.
The 27-year-old is on loan at AC Milan from Roma although that deal is not expected to become permanent and instead, the striker is keen on a return to England.

Tammy Abraham could be a good addition at West Ham
There is no doubt that Abraham is a player with plenty of talent and could be a good addition to Potter’s West Ham, with experience in the Premier League and Serie A.
In 33 appearances this term, the striker has scored eight goals and contributed five assists meaning there is still work to be done to get to his best.
Nevertheless, as someone with experience in English football, there is no reason why he wouldn’t be able to do a good job in Claret and Blue, but he would need to prove his injury woes are behind him.
With a World Cup approaching in 2026, the 27-year-old is said to be keen to impress Thomas Tuchel and getting back firing in the Premier League would do just that.
There is plenty to consider before this becomes a possibility but there is no harm in keeping Abraham on the radar in East London, as Ferguson gets to grips with his new loan side.
