West Ham position themselves to sign N’Golo Kante replica as concrete update shared
West Ham are showing an interest in Zulte Waregem midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi.
Nuno Espirito Santo wants to add to his squad in the January transfer market, and the Hammers are beginning to filter out possible signings to be made next month.
West Ham have seen a turn in results under Nuno, and the head coach has shown he can improve players who are already contracted to the Irons.
Despite this, recruits are still needed in E20, as West Ham face a threat of relegation, and Nuno will be confident that an extra boost of additions will be enough avoid the drop.
Nnadi could be the next N’Golo Kante, and further details suggest that a January move is increasingly likely.

West Ham have been impressed by Tochukwu Nnadi’s form
West Ham already have a solid midfield, but clearly Nuno sees room for improvement, and it’s fair to say that Nnadi would be a shrewd coup.
The 22-year-old is on track for the best season yet in his career, as he’s cemented himself as the heartbeat of Zulte Waregem’s midfield.
- Nnadi has started 15 of Zulte Waregem’s 17 games in the Belgian Pro League this campaign
- He averages a 60% duel success rate and an 81% aerial duel success rate
- As per Sofascore, Nnadi averages a rating of 6.71 in the league
According to Belgian outlet Het Nieuwsblad, Nnadi is on West Ham‘s wish list, and the Hammers see the Nigerian as a concrete midfield option.
A move for Nnadi is on the table; however, his name is one of multiple players that the Irons may go in for in January, hence why no proposal has been offered yet.

Nnadi has aspirations of playing in the Premier League and has even likened himself to World Cup winner Kante.

Nnadi looks up to N’Golo Kante
Kante ended up becoming one of the greatest Premier League midfielders of all time after making history with Leicester City and Chelsea.
However, Kante’s success only came about after taking the jump to England’s top flight, something Nnadi has made clear he is eager to do himself.
In June of 2023, Nnadi said, as quoted by The Nation: “I like [Sofyan] Amrabat of Morocco’s energy and his style and will like to model my game like his. Kante is another good player that I am looking up to.
“I hope to play in any of the top five leagues in the world. Playing in any of France, Germany, Italy, Spain and England will be ideal for my development.”
It would certainly be a step up for Nnadi, but the Hammers could be ahead of the curve with his potential signing.
