West Ham player agrees three-year contract abroad after London Stadium exit
West Ham United youth gem Favour Fawunmi has exited the London Stadium and is now on the verge of joining Greek club PAOK, according to Sean Whetstone.
The Hammers insider reported via his West Ham Football X account (1 February) that the Hammers youngster has been offered a three-year deal by the European club to secure the move.
The report also adds that PAOK aren’t the only team vying for the youngsters’ services at the moment.
West Ham United need to focus on bringing players in
While the Hammers getting rid of youth players is all well and good, it feels like their main focus needs to be on who can be brought in.
While the Irons aren’t directly involved in the Premier League relegation battle at the moment, it feels like a lot more should be coming from the team as a whole, especially with the amount of attacking injuries they’re currently nursing.

Graham Potter’s introduction to the London Stadium has no doubt invigorated some of the players with the squad but without a clear focal point and someone for the rest of the team to look towards, it feels like they could just end up finding themselves stuck.
At the moment, it’s unclear if anyone is going to be brought in but with Evan Ferguson’s move seemingly high on the Hammers’ list of priorities, it feels like that should be where the Hammers’ focus lies in the final days of the winter window.
In other West Ham news, a Champions League club has started “intense” talks to sell a striker wanted in East London.
