West Ham open talks to sign Tammy Abraham as transfer reveal emerges
West Ham United are in the hunt for a new striker in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Hammers have struggled to get goals this season, which has been one of the major reasons for their downfall in the league positions.
West Ham are currently 16th in the table, level on points with Everton, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. The East London side has netted only 32 goals in 27 games and are the sixth worst goalscoring side this term.
Their traditional strikers have been dormant and added just four goals between them.

West Ham want Tammy Abraham
West Ham strikers – Danny Ings, Michail Antonio and Niclas Fullkrug have been very underwhelming. Injuries to Fullkrug and Antonio forced the Hammers to go in the winter transfer window and sign Evan Ferguson on loan.
Ferguson would provide some much-needed depth in the striker department. However, the problem’s not solved yet.
Antonio and Ings are out of contract at the end of the season and there have been no indications of them being tied down to a new deal. In such a scenario, the East London club will go striker shopping in the summer.

According to Caught Offside, West Ham have made contact with the entourage of Tammy Abraham, who is currently on loan at Milan. The AS Roma forward has struggled to make an impact in the Serie A and failed to convince the Rossoneri to sign him permanently.
Everton, Wolves, Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest are also keen on the 27-year-old and have made contact with his agents.
Abraham’s Serie A career could be over and a move back to England could well be on the cards. The former Chelsea striker has scored eight goals in 36 games for Milan this season.

Graham Potter to save the Hammers?
Julen Lopetegui was sacked in early January and former Brighton boss Graham Potter was named in charge of steadying the ship and guiding West Ham to safety through turbulent waters.
Although Potter has managed to secure some decent results, like a 1-0 win against Arsenal, West Ham’s position has not improved. In seven games under Potter, the East London outfit has won three games and lost three while sharing the spoils in one match.
The Irons are safe from relegation, 16 points above the drop zone but are languishing in 16th place. A decent run of results could improve the league position as the bottom half are separated by minimal margins.
