West Ham line up two more late signings after Ferguson as medical booked – Sky

West Ham are looking to sign Eli Junior Kroupi and Daniel Cummings after booking in a medical for Brighton striker Evan Ferguson, according to Dharmesh Sheth.

Sheth, via Sky Sports (2 February), reported that the Irons are still working on two more deals after agreeing a deal to sign Ferguson on loan.

FC Lorient striker Junior Kroupi is one of those [Daily Mail] while Cummings from Celtic is also a deal that the Hammers are pursuing ahead of the deadline.

The latter would see the forward arrive at the London Stadium on a pre-contract agreement in the summer.

West Ham set for an active end to the winter window

Although the Hammers have been quiet when it comes to transfer business this window, that all looks set to change with a number of deals lined up ahead of Monday’s deadline.

First and foremost, the reported capture of Ferguson is a huge coup for the Irons and it will be the signing they have needed to address the long-term striker issues they have faced over the years.

While it is only a loan, it provides them with an excellent option for the remainder of the season which will lead into the summer where anything could happen.

As for Kroupi and Cummings, they are two very highly rated forwards in their respective countries and should they materialise, it would be very good business.

It certainly looks set to be a busy end to the transfer window for the Hammers as they look to continue their steady progression under manager Graham Potter.
