West Ham line up four signings as Jarrod Bowen exit news emerges

Jarrod Bowen could be on his way out of West Ham United this summer as Graham Potter gears up for a busy transfer window.

West Ham are expected to make significant changes to their squad in what will be Potter’s first summer transfer window in charge of them.

The 49-year-old has steered the Irons away from the relegation zone since taking the reins at the London Stadium in January, with Premier League survival all but confirmed.

Therefore, the East London outfit can already turn their attention towards next season, as well as the upcoming summer transfer window.

Bowen in midst of West Ham summer overhaul

West Ham have five players who have their contracts expiring at the end of the season.

Danny Ings, Aaron Cresswell and Vladimir Coufal are expected to leave as free agents, while Michail Antonio has to wait until the summer to see if he will be given a contract extension, according to The Times.

Meanwhile, the Hammers are still considering whether they should sign a new goalkeeper or hand Lukasz Fabianski, 39, another deal.

More players could be on their way out of the London Stadium, with the newspaper reporting via their website on Wednesday (16 April) that West Ham ‘expect to receive interest’ in Bowen, Mohammed Kudus, Emerson, Jean-Clair Todibo and Luis Guilherme.

Potter’s side are also working on adding new players to their ranks, having identified the need to sign a centre-back, left-back, central midfielder and a forward.

Potter to raise funds for new signings

West Ham ‘expecting’ interest in the likes of Bowen and Kudus suggests that they are open to listening to offers for those players.

Bowen and Kudus are the Irons’ most sellable assets and it would not be a surprise if Potter sold at least one of them to raise funds for new signings this summer.

Considering their ages, Kudus is more likely to leave than Bowen.
