West Ham hunt to sign Ez Abde influenced by external factor as £35m deal eyed

West Ham already have a summer move mapped out for Real Betis star Ez Abde.

A report from Spanish outlet Fichajes emerged on Thursday outlining interest from the Hammers for the Morocco international.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are said to be closely monitoring his development in LaLiga, but a move will be influenced by the relegation battle.

The Irons will be hampered in their efforts to sign the winger if they drop to the Championship, as it would damage their financial planning at the London Stadium.

Even with that being the case, the claret and blue outfit are still eyeing an attacking revolution with Abde should they stay in the Premier League.

How can West Ham sign Az Abde from Real Betis?

The forward is attracting interest from the Premier League, with Everton also looking at the potential of a summer deal.

The Moroccan has been excellent in LaLiga, and that has caught the attention of various sides outside of Spain, ready for the upcoming transfer window.

David Moyes’ side are keen on revitalising the attacking area of their squad in the summer, with his mix of exuberance and top-level experience representing an attractive prospect.

West Ham also have a desire to add a winger to their squad ahead of next season, but they need to remain in the Premier League if that signing is to be Abde.

His exploits with Morocco at AFCON and beyond have alerted the Hammers, as his value continues to increase to reflect his talent.

Betis would open up negotiations at a fee in the region of £35million, something which would be unattainable in E20 if they drop into the Championship.

Who is Az Abde and why do West Ham want him?

Nuno has a fight on his hands to keep his side out of the second tier, but that can’t take away from potential transfer plans for the summer.

Attacking reinforcements could be high on the agenda in East London, and there may not be better available than Abde.

The left winger is known for his ability to cut in from the flank onto his right foot, elite dribbling and speed to make life difficult for defenders.

He wants to get himself into one-on-one situations to isolate his opponent and make things happen for his side going forward.

That is hardly a surprise based on his three years at Barcelona, and it is something that could see him thrive in the Premier League next season.

West Ham just need to do their bit, avoid relegation and then get their hands on Abde.
