West Ham have not offered Andrea Belotti a contract, Moyes not interested – ExWHUemployee
West Ham United have not offered Andrea Belotti a three-year contract and David Moyes is not interested in signing him, according to ExWHUemployee.
Reports had suggested that Belotti was of interest to the Hammers for the summer window, with his contract at Torino set to expire at the end of the current season.
However reliable insider Ex has shared on his official Patreon account that a top source has confirmed to him the reports are false and there is no interest from the London Stadium

“We can confirm from one of our top sources that we have not offered Andrea Belotti, the Italian international forward at Torino who is out of contract in the summer, a three-year deal despite reports elsewhere,” he said.
“Our source says that whilst his availability was put to Moyes last summer and this January, the manager does not think he has the qualities to fit our team and the Premier League. It is also thought that without penalties his scoring rate has reduced over the last two years.”
Interesting
It sounds like the Italian’s agents are working overtime to get their client a move, but Moyes seems pretty sure of his plan and won’t be bringing him in.
That would suggest there is a specific profile and quality level that Moyes wants to bring in and he won’t deviate from it, something we saw during the January window.

Belotti does offer similar characteristics to Antonio, in that he is a physical, stocky striker good with both feet and his head. But his record is decreasing and while that’s because he isn’t playing as regularly it could be because he’s not as good as he once was.
With Belotti now out of the equation, fans will be eager to know who the main target for the striker position is with it being an open secret that the club want to strengthen the squad in that area.
It can’t be left unaddressed once again like it was in January, so Moyes may be forced to make concessions if he can’t get his prime targets.
