West Ham United could sign Dwight McNeil from Everton as they prepare for the Championship.

McNeil could be seen as the Dutchman's replacement as the Irons are reportedly interested in the Everton man.

The 26-year-old is someone the E20 side want to sign for a "potentially lucrative price" as his contract enters its final year on Merseyside.

A cheap deal that would fit in within West Ham's budget could be on the table this summer, but only if the winger is willing to drop down a division.

How much could West Ham pay for Everton ace McNeil?

The Toffees have certainly gotten good value out of the attacker after his £20million move from Burnley in 2022.

He has featured 130 times for the Blues and has contributed to 33 goals across all competitions.

That won't help the price Everton can demand as his contract has just 12 months remaining, pointing towards a cut-price fee.

They nearly sold him for around £20m in January, but Crystal Palace pulled out at the last minute, something that may leave David Moyes' side desperate for a summer sale.

They may be happy recieve around £10m for his signature and West Ham could certainly take advantage.

He wants to get on the ball and cut inside from the left, just like Summerville, so he could be an ideal replacement.
