West Ham eye another Chelsea midfielder after Chukwuemeka
West Ham are eyeing up a move for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall during the January transfer window, according to Matt Law.
The Telegraph journalist has reported (5 January) that the Hammers have Dewsbury-Hall on their radar in January as they look to strengthen their midfield as well as fellow Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka.
Chukwuemeka has already been linked with the Irons, although GiveMeSport reported [20 December] that West Ham could miss out due to the £40million asking price set by the Blues.
West Ham looking at Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
This is a vital transfer window for Julen Lopetegui who is still under heaps of pressure at The London Stadium, even more so following a 4-1 defeat against Manchester City on Saturday (4 January).
With this in mind, the Spaniard’s recruitment in the window could prove to be what makes or breaks the manager’s future with the Hammers.
While strikers have to be top of the list for the 58-year-old with Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio both unavailable through injury, the boss is also keen on adding to his options in midfield.

The Irons certainly do need to increase their midfield options and Dewsbury-Hall could be a reasonable target given he has made just five appearances for Chelsea this term, all of which were from the bench.
The 26-year-old has the ability to provide goals from midfield and although he hasn’t made too much of an impact since leaving Leicester City, East London could certainly be the place where he can rediscover his form.
