West Ham deadline round-up at 7pm: Medicals, signings and sales as deals hang in the balance

West Ham have had one of their busiest winter transfer markets in recent times.

The Hammers have signed the likes of Taty Castellanos, Pablo and Adama Traore this window to bolster Nuno Espirito Santo’s attack.

But West Ham have also let players go, with Lucas Paqueta sealing his return to Flamengo, possibly the biggest transfer in the Irons’ window.

Monday’s deadline has now been reached for transfers to be made, and West Ham Zone can reveal business that is still awaiting confirmation.

Latest on Axel Disasi and Emeka Adiele

Axel Disasi’s loan move to West Ham is in doubt, despite the centre-back currently undergoing his medical ahead of a stay until the end of the season.

The Chelsea star decided to go with the Hammers after rejecting interest from other clubs, but the Frenchman may have taken too long with his decision.

Disasi could still be unveiled as a West Ham player past 7pm, but it would require the Hammers to submit a deal sheet to be given an extra two hours for any additional documents to be approved and signed.

But the Irons were able to confirm the departure of Emeka Adiele in time, who has joined FC Utrecht on a permanent deal.

The teenage winger was a talented prospect at Rush Green, but has chosen to join the Dutch side in favour of first-team minutes at senior level.

Any other business for Nuno?

West Ham submitted multiple late bids for Real Betis’ Natan, but after the Spanish side knocked back all offers, the Hammers seemed to push on in their attempts to land Disasi.

Mads Hermansen was also linked with a move away, with a potential swap deal for Tottenham’s Atonin Kinsky, but the deal didn’t reach an advanced stage.

Galatasaray have held an interest in Soungoutou Magassa, which has been made public in the last few weeks, but the Turkish giants never submitted a potential loan-to-buy offer.

As things stand, unless there’s been any transfers going on quietly behind the scenes, that should be that for the Hammers this winter.

All eyes are now on Disasi, with a deal sheet now most likely required to process his move.
