West Ham close in on Antonin Kinsky as Tottenham transfer details revealed

Nuno Espirito Santo is set to have Tottenham goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky at West Ham United in the winter transfer window.

The Hammers are close to finalising an agreement with Spurs for their backup Czechia shot-stopper, who’s made just two appearances in the Carabao Cup this season.

Mads Hermansen’s move to the London Stadium hasn’t worked out, with the Denmark international losing his place in the starting lineup after a few errors in goal at the start of the campaign.

Nuno might also need an upgrade on Alphonso Areola, and it looks like the East London outfit are about to reinforce their goalkeeping department.

West Ham to sign Antonin Kinsky on loan with buy option from Tottenham

Kinsky looks close to leaving Tottenham to join the Hammers on loan, according to Matteo Moretto.

The Marca journalist revealed on 27 January that the Irons are close to coming to an agreement to bring the 22-year-old to the London Stadium.

It’s been claimed that a deal will also include a non-obligatory option to buy the Czechia national in the summer.

The Irons have kept just one clean sheet in the Premier League this season, and while a lot of the blame falls on the defence, Areola and Hermansen have had moments to forget.

Nuno got three crucial points against Sunderland on 24 January, and the East London outfit’s hierarchy seem keen to back him in January.

The Portuguese manager’s squad has already been reinforced with Taty Castellano, Pablo, and Keiber Lamadrid, but the E20 outfit aren’t done with their business yet.

Nuno Espirito Santo needs one particular transfer to avoid Premier League relegation

Chelsea defender Axel Disasi has been heavily linked with a move to the London Stadium, with the Frenchman surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.

West Ham are in need of more quality at centre-back, with Max Kilman, Jean-Clair Todibo and Konstantinos Mavropanos unreliable for most of the season.

Igor Julio hasn’t been trusted by Nuno, making additions in the backline an evident priority for the East London club in the coming days.

Disasi’s availability makes him an attainable target, but considering his performances in recent seasons and lack of action at Chelsea, the Hammers should look at a better option to strengthen their defence.
