Vladimir Coufal and Aaron Cresswell love ‘amazing’ new West Ham transfer announcement

Vladimir Coufal and Aaron Cresswell have maintained their positive relationship with West Ham.

Coufal departed West Ham and wanted to stay in England, but eventually ended up moving away from the London Stadium to Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga.

By comparison, Cresswell joined Stoke City on a free transfer after bringing down the curtain on 11 years in East London.

This saw questions raised for letting such experienced heads leave, especially when West Ham fell to defeat against Sunderland on the opening day of the season.

Despite their departures from E20, Coufal and Cresswell have still spoken out to share their love for a recent transfer move.

Vladimir Coufal and Aaron Cresswell react to Lukasz Fabianski transfer

It came as a surprise to many when Fabianski returned to West Ham on a free transfer just months after departing at the end of his contract.

The former Poland international exited alongside a whole host of Irons favourites as the hierarchy looked to revolutionise the squad.

West Ham free transer exits this summer:

This saw Wes Foderingham become the third-choice goalkeeper for the Hammers, but he has since agreed a move to Aris Limassol.

As a result, the E20 club were in desperate need of a new keeper and Fabianski certainly fitted the bill of an experienced option for Potter’s outfit.

The Pole’s return has gone down well with Hammers fans and former players alike, with Coufal and Cresswell speaking out.

The Englishman reacted via Instagram on 10 September to refer to Fabianski as a “legend”, while the new Hoffenheim defender said: “Amazing. Home is home.”

Lukasz Fabianski return to benefit West Ham

The reaction to the ex-Arsenal man’s return has been excellent, proving exactly how well appreciated the shot-stopper is in East London.

Although his minutes are likely to be hugely limited, there is no doubt that his influence on the dressing room could be huge.

After a largely difficult start to the campaign, it will be interesting to see if there will be an upturn in form, marked by the return of Fabianski.
