UAE sources share brand new Kurt Zouma transfer update at West Ham United

UAE sources do not expect a deal to collapse between Shabab Al-Ahli and West Ham United for Kurt Zouma, according to Nawaf Al-Aqeel.

The Al-Riyadh journalist has shared that Zouma is still expected to complete his move despite complications emerging in his medical [UAE Kick].

It is said that Shabab Al-Ahli still want the defender, and he wants the move too as he awaits a green light for the transfer to go ahead.

Kurt Zouma to leave West Ham United

Julen Lopetegui and Tim Steidten are not messing around this summer.

As well as several new signings, they are starting to be brutal with their exit decisions too, with Zouma holding the captain’s armband not long ago.

It is said that Shabab Al-Ahli will cover Zouma’s wages in what is essentially a free transfer, but it will free up big money from the wage bill at the London Stadium [David Ornstein].

Lopetegui will be very happy to get rid of Zouma now that he managed to get a deal over the line for Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice to go alongside Max Kilman.

That is the likely duo to start the Premier League season against Aston Villa in a matter of days, with the main goal to get back into Europe.

With big money already spent, it is time to get rid of some deadwood, hopefully starting here with Zouma and his wages.

In other West Ham news, the Hammers’ latest transfer deal isn’t quite what it appears to be with a big-money fee lined up in 2025.
