Tammy Abraham development emerges at West Ham amid summer interest

Tammy Abraham has been making West Ham headlines as of late, and it appears as though it will remain that way until the summer transfer window.

For several years now, West Ham have failed to properly address the striker concerns at the London Stadium, with a heavy reliance on Jarrod Bowen to get the goals.

Of course, as he always has done, Bowen has delivered when needed, but West Ham simply need to make a signing in the summer to alleviate some of the pressure on his shoulders.

Abraham is a name that has been linked with a move to the Irons, with a fresh update provided on their chase to sign the former Chelsea striker.

Abraham stance shared ahead of potential summer transfer

With Niclas Fullkrug potentially heading for the exit in the summer, the need for a fresh arrival in that department will grow in importance even further.

However, according to a report from TEAMtalk (5 March), Abraham is keen on a switch back to the Premier League, and it may provide the perfect opportunity to address those concerns.

The former Chelsea striker has been a regular for Milan this season, featuring in all competitions, including the Champions League.

Abraham has a good record in English football

West Ham are said to have already made an approach to sign the Englishman, and if a deal is there to be had, the Hammers must be all over it.

Given his pedigree and ability to find the back of the net, his arrival would significantly bolster the forward line at the London Stadium while providing Bowen with an excellent option to play off, which is only going to improve his game as well.

West Ham may hold the upper hand in Abraham deal

Since the appointment of Graham Potter, West Ham have certainly improved massively, and that is likely to bode well for them when it comes to recruitment this summer.

Potter has an excellent reputation in football, and players will undoubtedly look at that as a potential deciding factor when contemplating their next move.

The foundations of an excellent squad are already present with the Irons, and the addition of a few players of a similar quality to Abraham would transform this side into one capable of challenging for Europe again.
