Spartak Moscow general director confirms Alex Kral to West Ham deal
A Spartak Moscow director looks to have confirmed that Alex Kral will move to West Ham before the transfer window slams shut on deadline day.
Twitter-verified journalist Fabio Aleixo, who is based in Moscow, wrote via his personal Twitter profile that the Spartak Moscow board had confirmed the deal.
Russia Football News also relayed quotes from general director Evgeny Melezhikov on the 23-year-old midfielder.

Melezhikov said: “Kral is leaving. We had different options for him. We agreed on all terms with West Ham. It will be a paid loan with a mandatory purchase option.”
He added: “We are at the stage of final signing of documents for Kral. There was interest from Atalanta & subsequently we began to negotiate with West Ham. We reached an agreement last night that satisfies everyone.”
Express Sport journalist Ryan Taylor also tweeted the quotes.
Announcement pending?
With recent reports that Kral has undergone an Irons medical, it looks like this deal could get over the line soon and he will be confirmed as the club’s latest capture.
There appears to have been a long-standing interest in the Czech Republic international dating back to earlier this year, but links went cold after he endured a fairly underwhelming European Championship with his nation.
While Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal starred for the Czechs as they progressed to the quarter-finals, Kral was not a leading light in the run.
However, the Irons have reignited their interest late in the summer, and Kral looks set to join his international teammates at the London Stadium.
In other West Ham news, the Irons want to sign this teenage sensation who has a release clause, club plan London meeting.
