Sky Sports share if West Ham will sign new attacker before Crystal Palace
West Ham are not expected to sign a striker before their game against Crystal Palace, according to Sky Sports.
The Hammers are being linked with a number of forwards including Evann Guessand and Andre Silva during the transfer window.
However, there is not expected to be an arrival before Saturday (18 January) and Graham Potter is prepared to make do should no signing materialise in the window.
West Ham need a striker
Although Potter won’t be keen to rush on bringing in a new striker to the club and there are financial limitations on what they can do, it is a key area for West Ham to strengthen during the window.
With Jarrod Bowen, Michail Antonio and Niclas Fullkrug all injured and out for the foreseeable, if the Hammers are going to improve their form in the second half of the campaign they need reinforcements.

After a 3-2 win against Fulham on Tuesday (14 January), the new boss has shown he can get his side to contribute goals from elsewhere on the pitch, which is what he needs in the interim period.
However, this may not be enough for the Irons throughout the remainder of the campaign with plenty of football yet to be played and therefore, David Sullivan needs to measure up how he can support his new appointment in East London.
In other West Ham news, Sky Sports have shared an update about an approach for an “outstanding” international forward.
