Nuno Espirito Santo transfer priority emerges amid Jorgen Strand Larsen update
Nuno Espirito Santo has made it clear what he wants at West Ham in January.
West Ham secured a point in a 2-2 draw with Brighton on Tuesday, and while it’s yet another game without a win, a draw will more than likely see Nuno through to the next encounter, at the very least.
However, with relegation fears still strong at the London Stadium, plans will be in place for the January transfer window, with a lot of work to do.
Several players have already been linked with a move to West Ham, many of whom have largely become redundant after what sources have revealed about Nuno’s priority.

What have sources revealed about potential West Ham business?
West Ham’s interest in Jacob Strand Larsen has been well-documented over the last few weeks, with a report from the Guardian stating that a £40million bid is now prepared.
It’s claimed that the Hammers see a new striker as the “key to their hopes of staying up“, and Larsen’s record in the previous campaign is likely to have fueled that.
However, it’s also reported that Nuno has a clear priority to sign players who have experience in English football.
Coventry’s Haji Wright and Ellis Simms have also been linked with West Ham, and they too would fit within that criteria.

It’s certainly a development that makes sense for the Hammers given their current predicament, though the label of a striker being key to their survival hopes is well off the mark.
West Ham’s survival hopes hinge on a lot more than a striker
Goals, or rather, a lack of them, has certainly been a major issue for West Ham this season, but the concerns at the other end of the pitch cannot be overlooked.
Max Kilman was dreadful against Brighton, while those around him have also failed to showcase any real consistency.
If West Ham are to improve their attacking options, that will do little to prevent them from shipping silly goals at the back, as they have done all season.
Only Wolves have conceded more than the Irons so far this season, demonstrating just how important it will be that they target defensive reinforcements with as much impetus as they do with attacking arrivals.
