Noussair Mazraoui could join West Ham United US tour after Bayern Munich exit update
Noussair Mazraoui could join the West Ham United squad on their pre-season tour of the United States, according to Dharmesh Sheth.
The Sky Sports journalist reported via X on Thursday (25 July) that the Bayern Munich defender could meet up with Julen Lopetegui’s side if his move to the London Stadium is completed in the coming days.
West Ham are understood to be set to pay an initial £13.5million fee with a further £2.9million due in performance-related add-ons if the deal can be agreed between all parties.
Reports from The Athletic journalist David Ornstein (25 July) suggest that talks between the two clubs are advanced, but he insists that the deal is not yet completed.

The most important thing for West Ham at this moment in time is that they ensure this deal is completed before anyone else interested in Mazraoui’s signature can swoop in and steal him from under their noses.
But it would also be a massive boost for Lopetegui if he could get the Moroccan defender over to the United States to join their pre-season camp as it would help him get to know his new teammates.
It can often take a couple of months for foreign players to adapt to the English game and while Mazraoui has already played at the highest level, the Premier League will offer a completely different challenge to his time at Bayern Munich.
The opportunity to spend a period of time in the United States with his new club could help speed up that adaptation, whilst also ensuring he will be ready to play a part when the league season starts back up.
Hopefully, the Hammers will get this deal over the line quickly so that plans can be put in place and then Tim Steitdten and his recruitment team can move on to other targets.
