Nordin Amrabat confirms if brother Sofyan Amrabat is going to sign for West Ham United this summer
Nordin Amrabat has confirmed that his brother Sofyan Amrabat will not sign for West Ham this summer, stating in an interview with ESPN that his brother wants “to go to the top.”
Fiorentina’s Amrabat hinted that he could one day play in the Premier League during an interview prior to the Conference League final, as reported by the Daily Mail on 7 June.
However, recent comments from Sofyan’s brother suggest it would not be West Ham he ends up at if he was to switch Italy for England.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano on 8 June, Nordin told ESPN, “Sofyan to West Ham? No, he wants to go to the top and his desire is to play in Spain. At Barcelona, he is high on the list but you know Barça’s financial situation.
“There are more clubs interested in Sofyan,” his brother then added.
Sofyan Amrabat was part of the Fiorentina side beaten 2-1 by West Ham in the UEFA Conference League final as the midfielder played the full 90 minutes.
Amrabat has had better nights. He was awarded a 6.9 match rating by Sofa Score, winning just six of his 15 ground duels and losing possession 12 times. The Morrocan international also picked up a yellow card for one of his five fouls.

Amrabat deal off
This report will come as a blow to West Ham who would have had hopes of landing the 26-year-old after his bright season.
Amarabat shone with his nation during the mid-season winter World Cup as Morrocco became the first African side to ever reach the semi-final stage of the tournament.
The midfielder also had a strong season for Fiorentina, showcasing his outstanding passing ability, with an average pass accuracy of 88.8 per cent per 90, putting him in the 97th percentile compared to his positional peers in the Serie A, (FBREF).
The comments suggest the Hammers will now need to prioritise other transfer targets as they look to undertake the enormous task of trying to replace the hole Declan Rice is likely to leave behind should he seal a big-money move away this summer.
However, although Amrabat seems off the cards at the moment, in football you can never rule anything out, and if a move does not materialise elsewhere, the midfielder may turn his attention back to the newly crowned Conference League champions.
