Nayef Aguerd sends message to Kurt Zouma as ex-West Ham man finds new club
West Ham fan favourite Kurt Zouma has found himself a new team.
Zouma made 103 appearances for the London Stadium side before moving to CFR Cluj in 2025 after his contract expired.
The former Chelsea and Everton star has now been announced as an Al Wasl SC player, joining the United Arab Emirates side.
A host of ex-Hammers players have reacted to the Frenchman’s latest move, including Nayef Aguerd.

What did Areola say about Zouma’s move?
Aguerd left West Ham in the summer, signing for Marseille in a £20million deal, after three years in East London.
Zouma left in June, after four years in E20, but he has already left Romania to join the Cheetahs.
Taking to Instagram on 26 February to announce the switch, the Zabeel-based club said: “Kurt Zouma and Salawi”
Aguerd reacted to the news, saying: “Congratulations, my brother.”
Alphonse Areola, Emerson Palmeiri, and Maxwel Cornet also liked the post.
Another former West Ham star set for a new club
Another former Hammers star could be set to move to the Arab Peninsula in the coming days, as Michail Antonio looks set to choose Al-Sailiya.
The Qatari club were battling with Charlton Athletic for his signature, but it appears that the 35-year-old is set to move to the Doha-based side.
A report from the BBC on 26 February claimed that he is set to sign a short-term deal with the two-time Qatari Stars Cup winners, rather than staying in England with the Championship club, who were offering a pay-as-you-play deal.
Irons supporters will be keeping a close eye on Antonio’s form, as he makes his return to football after the car crash, which ultimately ended his career in E20.
He left as the club’s leading Premier League goalscorer, with 68 strikes in 268 matches in the division for the three-time FA Cup winners.
He played a pivotal part in the UEFA Europa Conference League win in 2023, which ended the Hammers’ long 43-year wait for a trophy, and he will always be remembered for that, no matter what else happens in his career.
Supporters will wish him well in his latest endeavours and hope that he can start scoring goals once again with his new club, and make it a memorable spell in Qatar.
