Mohammed Kudus tipped for 2025 West Ham United exit in big-money transfer
Tony Cascarino believes Mohammed Kudus could earn a big-money move away from West Ham United in 2025.
Kudus still has four years to run on his London Stadium contract, with the option of a further 12 months, having only arrived in 2023.
While the Ghana international has struggled to match his impact of last season so far this campaign, Cascarino named him as one of a few Premier League players he can see earning a big transfer next year.
Speaking on talkSPORT [17 November, 7:11am], Cascarino named Antoine Semenyo and Bryan Mbuemo as two players who will be “difficult to keep” and said: “I’d also add in Kudus at West Ham.
“He’s signed a long contract but there are clubs who’d pay really good money for him. Antonee Robinson at Fulham is another.”
How much is Mohammed Kudus worth at West Ham United?
Kudus arrived at the London Stadium for a fee of £38million [Sky Sports] and, despite that large number, it looked like a bargain in his first 12 months in East London.
The forward scored scored eight goals and assisted six more in 33 Premier League games – all while adapting to a new country – and scored six more goals in cup competitions.
So far this season, however, Kudus has only found the net a couple of times a few months in, largely owing to the fact he is serving an extended suspension.
Despite that, Kudus’ value will only have increased since arriving at West Ham and the Irons could realistically demand a fee anywhere in excess of £80m.
That may sound rather hyperbolic on the face of it, but a player is only worth as much as a club is willing to sell for, and another is willing to pay.
The Hammers will see no reason to cash in anytime soon, so if any clubs elsewhere in the Premier League are indeed interested, which they no doubt will be, they will need to dig deep into their pockets.
