Mohammed Kudus close allies refuse to reveal West Ham United transfer detail
Mohammed Kudus has a release clause in his West Ham United contract but those close to him have refused to disclose the figure, according to The Athletic.
Hammers journalist Roshane Thomas has reported (15 May) that before he moved to the London Stadium, Arsenal and Chelsea looked to sign the Ghanian.
With the information that he has a release clause in his contract, the Premier League outfits may reignite their interest in Kudus.
After his Premier League debut season alongside Lucas Paqueta and Jarrod Bowen, he “will not be short of admirers this summer.”
Could West Ham United sell Mohammed Kudus?
Kudus signed for the Hammers in the summer in a deal which could be worth up to £38 million from Ajax [Sky Sports].
With that being said, it would take a fee well in excess of that to prize the electric forward away from the London Stadium this summer.
He has played in a variety of positions this campaign where he has excelled and shown his ability on the ball while contributing to goals and not being afraid to track back.
This season he has scored seven and assisted six across 26 starts and an additional six appearances as a substitute [FotMob].
Given that Paqueta has already been linked away with Manchester City interested [TBR Football], the Hammers can’t lose them both.
The combination of these two and Bowen has been superb under David Moyes this season and shows great potential.
Moving into next season, whoever the next manager is, they will be hopeful of keeping their star players.
