Mohamed Kudus sale: West Ham transfer timeframe emerges

Mohammed Kudus could end up leaving West Ham United in the summer transfer window, according to The Times.

The newspaper reported via their website (10 January) that the attacker is now “likely” to be a summer sale after recent speculation around his future.

Kudus has been linked with a move away on several occasions since his arrival at the London Stadium but now it seems that his time with the Hammers could have an end date.

West Ham United could afford to allow Mohammed Kudus to leave in the summer

Kudus’ future has been a question that has been hanging over his head since at excellent debut campaign at the London Stadium after joining from Ajax in the summer of 2023.

While he was a key player under David Moyes and was one of the main reasons why they finished ninth in the Premier League last season, this term, his influence hasn’t been quite as pronounced this term.

A hefty ban for his indiscretions against Tottenham didn’t help, nor really did the fact Julen Lopetegui – who he seemed to have a terse relationship with – never really seemed to know how to get the best out of the 24-year-old Ghana attacker.

Now that Graham Potter is in charge, we could potentially see a turn-around in performance from the former Ajax man but even if that happens it appears he might be moved on at the end of the campaign.

However, with Jarrod Bowen now out for several weeks, it could be Kudus’ time to shine and allow him to prove that the clinical attacker from last term is still somewhere within him.
