
Matias Soule transfer update at West Ham United after crazy Saudi news drops
Saudi clubs are “willing to do crazy things” to sign Juventus midfielder Matias Soule ahead of West Ham, according to Calciomercato.
Writing on their website (13 July), the Italian news outlet report that the Serie A giants are hoping to earn around £29.6million [Calciomercato, 23 June] from the attacking midfielder this summer after his excellent loan spell at Frosinone in 2023/24.
The Hammers are one of several clubs interested in a deal but “appear to be a little bit behind the others” in the race currently, with Saudi clubs ready to go crazy just to have him as part of their league.

When it comes to a bidding war in the transfer market, nobody is going to beat the Saudi clubs if they’re serious about getting a deal done.
But the players’ will also come into these situations and that is where West Ham may have the upper hand if they can find a number that Juventus are willing to sell for.
Leicester are also said to be interested and a Premier League move could sway Soule, but West Ham are far more established in the division and there is a gap in the squad for him to come in and make an instant impact too.
