Martin Braithwaite willing to snub Brighton in favour of West Ham or Wolves after approaches
Barcelona forward Martin Braithwaite is willing to turn down a move to Brighton in favour of West Ham, according to Sport.
The Spanish news outlet claims the Seagulls will be able to afford the 30-year-old once they sell Ben White in a blockbuster transfer to Arsenal, with Braithwaite expected to fetch around £12.9million.
However, the Denmark international, who scored versus Wales at Euro 2020 as his side marched to the semi-finals of the tournament, would prefer to join West Ham or Wolves, both of whom have made enquiries for him this week.

Braithwaite looks a certainty for a Barcelona exit this summer, with the Spanish giants looking to cash in and reduce their wage bill after the arrivals of Sergio Aguero and Memphis Depay.
The Danish attacker is understood to be Premier League-bound, and he would be able to land a higher wage than he is currently earning in Spain.

Still no
This is a link that has been gaining momentum for the past month or so, particularly since Braithwaite’s involvement at Euro 2020.
He impressed for the Danes at UEFA’s showpiece tournament, playing along the forward line and making himself a nuisance to opposition defenders, and he helped to propel them into the latter stages without their star man Christian Eriksen.
However, we can’t be blinded by dazzling displays during a three-week spell.
While it says a lot that he can perform under such high expectations at a major tournament, his club form also has to be taken into account.
He failed during his only spell in England at Middlesbrough, scoring just nine times in 40 appearances, and wasn’t exactly prolific for Bordeaux and Leganes before ended up at Barcelona in peculiar circumstances.
He’s only scored eight goals in 53 outings for the La Liga side, and we can’t see how he would be a valuable addition to the Irons side at his age.
