Luizao on verge of West Ham exit as transfer green lit after formal offer
Luizao has a formal offer to leave West Ham United and return to Brazil, according to Uriel Lugt.
The South American journalist reported via X [11 December] that an unnamed club have proposed to take the centre-back on loan with an option to buy hours after it emerged that Internacional are interested in him [Radio Inferno].
Meanwhile, the Irons have green-lit the transfer, giving the 22-year-old permission to negotiate further.

Luizao joined the East London outfit from Sao Paulo in 2023 but is keen to return to Brazil as he expects to be a father soon.
West Ham have no plans to stand in his way, having already given him permission to discuss personal terms with any prospective club.
It appears that the defender will leave the London Stadium on an initial loan deal before potentially making it permanent in the future.
Although Internacional have been linked with a move for him, it is unclear if they are the Brazilian club in question. Nevertheless, it is seemingly only a matter of time before an agreement is reached.

It is worth noting that the Hammers tried to offload Luizao last summer and were even in advanced talks with two European clubs over a deal [Bruno Andrade].
This is not to say that the left-footer is unsettled in East London as he scored in the Under-21s’ 3-1 victory over Borussia Monchengladbach in the Premier League International Cup on Tuesday [10 December].
