Luis Guilherme exit: West Ham locked in new London transfer talks
West Ham are locked in talks in London to possibly sell Luis Guilherme, according to ESPN Brazil guest, Zinho.
The commentator claims (4 February) that the Hammers are in negotiations with Botafogo over a possible transfer for the 18-year-old.
The ex-Palmeiras man has struggled to live up to the expectations that surrounded his move to the London Stadium and the likes of Porto and Feyenoord have shown interest in his services.
Zinho described the Hammers star as “a player with incredible potential” and labelled the deal as “very possible to happen” in the coming days.
West Ham set to end Guilherme experiment?
It is safe to say that the Brazilian’s summer move has not worked out for either party, with the winger featuring in just seven matches this season.
Sporting director Tim Steidten has left his role with the Irons after a dismal summer window that included the deal for the youngster.
After Julen Lopetegui was sacked on 8 January, Guilherme may have hoped to have been given a chance to impress new boss Graham Potter.

However, that has not been the case and he has found himself with less playing time under the former Chelsea man.
The Brazil youth star has featured for just 15 minutes in all competitions, less than he did under the Spaniard.
He may have a chance for a final audition in East London after Cysencio Summerville was ruled out for another eight weeks in recent days (Sean Whetstone).
However, if the latest updates are true, it seems that he will not be given the opportunity to redeem himself at the London Stadium.
