Last-ditch hijack on the cards to sign West Ham United forward Nikola Vlasic despite Torino news
Nikola Vlasic’s move from West Ham to Torino is under threat from an unnamed Italian club, according to ExWHUemployee.
Writing via his Patreon account on Tuesday night (9 August), the reliable Hammers insider reported that Vlasic, 24, is set to complete a move to Serie A side Torino “in the next 24 hours and is a loan deal with a permanent option at €15million (£12.6million)”.
However, Ex adds in an update that another team in Italy could make a last-ditch bid to hijack Torino’s deal with West Ham.

More money, please
Vlasic has been a major flop at West Ham.
We’re not shocked too because he’s already struggled in the Premier League with Everton in the past.
If a player is able to perform well in the Russian league and not the Premier League, it might be because he’s not good enough for England’s top-tier or he’s simply doesn’t suit the style of play here.
Either way, it was a dumb decision to sign him and we deserve all we’ve got with the money being lost on him.
We wish Vlasic all the best in Italy whether he joins Torino or one of their Serie A rivals.
But if the unnamed Italian club comes in with a bigger offer for the Croatia forward then we should take it because that extra cash could be massive for us in the final weeks of the summer transfer window.
Vlasic has been a failure.

After joining last year from CSKA Moscow for a fee starting at £26.8million [BBC Sport].
Without even considering wages or the add-ons that were agreed in that deal, he’s cost us £860,000-a-game by making just 31 appearances in all competitions.
In those games, he scored once and supplied two assists.
What a great signing that was, guys.
