Kvistgaarden says goodbye to fans as West Ham line up blockbuster transfer bid
Mathias Kvistgaarden could be West Ham’s first signing of the summer transfer window.
The Hammers are desperate for attacking reinforcements after finishing 14th in the Premier League despite a huge outlay last summer.
Graham Potter’s side scored 46 goals this season, with only Jarrod Bowen scoring more than 10 in the league.
As a result, they are in the market for a new striker.

West Ham ready Kvistgaarden bid
The London Stadium outfit recognises their need for new additions to Potter’s forward line.
A report from Daily Mail (30 May) claims that the East Londoners have entered the race to sign the Danish sensation, who scored 23 goals this season and are lining up a bid to beat Celtic and Eintracht Frankfurt.
It states that Brondby could demand in excess of £12million for the 23-year-old, who appeared to say goodbye to supporters last week.

Potter needs backing to succeed at West Ham
It has not been the start that many expected for Potter in E20, he has struggled to turn around the poor form that he inherited from Julen Lopetegui.
The ex-Chelsea man has won just five of the 19 matches that he has been in the Hammers dugout and could be under pressure if he does not turn things around.

The likes of Niclas Fullkrug, Crysencio Summerville and Luis Guilherme, who were all signed last summer, have failed to make the desired impact and the Irons need to get it right this summer.
Kvistgaarden is exactly the type of attacker that Potter needs to transform his fortunes, he is young and dynamic, something which the 2023 UEFA Europa Conference League winners are lacking right now.
His pressing, off the ball movement, clinical nature and ability to find space in the box make him a perfect option for the former Brighton man’s system.
It would be a risk given that he has no experience in English football and the Superliga is much less competitive, which would raise doubts about his ability to adapt.
However, his potential and the relatively low fee make it a deal that is worth making, especially given the need for fresh impetus in attack.
If David Sullivan and Co can get this deal over the line, it would be a great start to business.
