
Kurt Zouma signs contract to quit West Ham United on Deadline Day
West Ham United defender Kurt Zouma has signed his contract with Al-Orobah in Saudi Arabia with his departure almost confirmed, according to Santi Aouna.
The Foot Mercato journalist posted on X [30 August] that former captain Zouma has clinched his move to Saudi, having seen a switch to Dubai-based Al-Ahli Shabab fall through after failing a medical.
The Frenchman does now have his move to the Middle East, however, and has signed a loan deal with an option to buy.

For the past few days, it has seemed a formality that Zouma would eventually seal an exit from the London Stadium.
As reported by Nawaf Oga on Thursday [29 August], the centre-half had passed a medical and personal terms were never going to be an issue.
Dharmesh Sheth also stated [29 August] that the initial loan deal would take Zouma to the end of his Hammers contract next summer, before signing a deal until 2026 as a free agent.
Nayef Aguerd is also expected to depart [Noticias de Gipuzkoa, 30 August] the Irons before the deadline hits, with several reinforcements made at the back including deals for Max Kilman and Jean-Clair Todibo.
