Kurt Zouma set to leave West Ham for Saudi Arabia
This transfer saga looks set to finally have come to an end as the former Chelsea man appears to be ready for a move to Saudi Arabia.
It has been made clear that the defender’s future isn’t at the London Stadium with Julen Lopetegui coming in as the new head coach.
Last season, under David Moyes, Zouma was captain but was a regular feature in a poor backline which conceded too many goals throughout the season.
The Spaniard has added to his defence throughout the window with the likes of Max Kilman and Jean-Clair Todibo coming in to be first choice options.
Konstantinos Mavrapanos has started the season but is facing pressure for his role from the Frenchman.
With that being said, there is no spot in the squad for Zouma and so a move away appears to make sense for all parties.
There may not be a fee involved but getting his wages off the books could prove to be beneficial.
In other West Ham news, midfielder’s exit confirmed as official club statement issued.
