Josip Sutalo reacts as West Ham United ready new transfer at London Stadium
Ajax defender Josip Sutalo is evaluating a move to West Ham United amid the recent interest, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The journalist reported through his website on 9 July that a plethora of teams are vying for the transfer of the Croatia international.
Brighton and Fiorentina are also said to be in the race, with the Italian side already making a new attempt to get a deal over the line.

These new links aren’t the first time that the Hammers have been rumoured to be interested in Sutalo [Niccolo Ceccarini, 3 August 2023].
Before his move to Ajax at the start of the 2023/24 season, West Ham had been touted with an interest in the defender.
Although that move never came to fruition, making one now would make quite a lot of sense.
It’s evident that Julen Lopetegui’s side are in dire need of defensive reinforcement despite the addition of Max Kilman to their ranks.
Although Ajax didn’t have the strongest of seasons last term, the centre-back performed well.
He appeared for the Amsterdam-based outfit a total of 32 times and even managed to score a goal.
The Hammers have been linked with several centre-backs but for now, at least, a deal for Jean Clair-Todibo doesn’t feel close to completion [Calciomercato, 8 July].
Sutalo could be a cheaper option for the London-based club to go for and help sure up their defensive line further.
