Jhon Duran transfer: Simon Jordan makes ‘Significant’ West Ham claim
West Ham are not “significant” enough to turn Jhon Duran’s head, according to Simon Jordan.

Former Crystal Palace owner Jordan, speaking on talkSPORT (22 January, 10:41 am), believes that the Hammers would not have been able to tempt the Colombian, saying: “West Ham, I mean why is that going to turn Duran’s head?
“Ultimately, unless somebody of a really significant nature, with due respect to West Ham, comes in and want to pay £80m for Duran – whether that is a Manchester City or a Liverpool – I think he’ll stay.”
West Ham approach for Duran was ridiculous
All things considered, the Hammers approach for Duran was ridiculous and was never going to work.
The young star has recently signed a new contract at Villa Park that, in theory, should keep him at the club until 2030.
Even if he was angling for a move, Champions League clubs like Paris Saint-Germain are interested in his services so the Irons would have little likelihood of signing him.

The only thing that the move has done is left the board and specifically owner David Sullivan, open to criticism from supporters.
The East Londoners desperately need attacking reinforcements and fans now know that they have the money to spend after they were willing to spend a huge sum on Duran.
Failure to secure Graham Potter a new addition to his forward line would be negligent and would end his chances of turning the season around before they have really even started, so it must be done.
In other West Ham news, a report has shared on update on Tim Stediten’s future in East London as Sullivan takes a hands-on role.
