Jhon Arias agents jet in to listen to West Ham United transfer offer

West Ham United are set to hold direct talks over a deal for Jhon Arias, with the Fluminense attacker’s entourage travelling to Europe, according to Wilson Pimental.

The Brazilian journalist reported via X on 20 November that the Colombia international’s staff will listen to offers from the Irons and Galatasaray.

Writing on RTI Esporte, Pimental added that Arias is also attracting interest from two other English clubs, whose names are being kept “confidential”.

West Ham United talks planned as Jhon Arias transfer offer mooted

West Ham Football previously poured cold water on interest in Arias [30 October], but he continues to be linked [RTI Esporte] with a move to the London Stadium in Brazil.

It was stated that the East London outfit had enough wingers in their ranks already and it is hard to argue against that.

It is worth noting that Luis Guilherme is already struggling for playing time, with Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus, and Crysencio Summerville ahead of him in the pecking order.

Julen Lopetegui would have to move Bowen up front to accommodate Arias, which would make sense considering Michail Antonio and Danny Ings have scored just two goals between them this season.

The Colombian’s versatility which enables him to play on either flank, down the middle or even in central midfield also makes him an interesting target for the Hammers.

However, it would be better for Lopetegui’s side to sign an out-and-out striker instead, with Botafogo’s Igor Jesus a potential candidate [TBR Football].

In other West Ham news, the Irons were interested in signing this Real Madrid gem this summer.
