Jean-Philippe Mateta doubts emerge as West Ham could seal transfer
West Ham United have emerged as one of the contenders to sign Crystal Palace centre-forward Jean-Philippe Mateta, according to TBR Football.
The news outlet reports (5 February) that the Hammers are monitoring the 27-year-old’s situation as doubts about his future at Selhurst Park have emerged.
Mateta is yet to sign a new contract at the Eagles, with his current deal expiring in the summer of 2027.

Mateta has scored 10 Premier League goals this season so far and could seemingly be an excellent option for the Hammers come next summer.
