The deputy editor in chief of World Football Magazine took to X on 10 August to claim that everything is sealed between the Hammers and the French defender.
There were intense negotiations in the early hours of Saturday morning, 10 August, but the 24-year-old is now on his way to the London Stadium.
Vidal wrote: “Jean-Clair Todibo is now a Hammer! The transfer was sealed at 4:30 last night after intense night negotiations, despite a late attempt by Juventus to hijack him. The defender signs a five-year contract with West Ham. A new chapter begins for him under Julen Lopetegui.”
