Jean-Clair Todibo private jet update emerges as West Ham United eye new transfer
Nice defender Jean Clair-Todibo has been spotted in a jet with Tim Steidten as West Ham close in on his transfer.
According to Fabrizio Romano on 9 August, Steidten’s blitz over the past 36 hours was enough to hijack the deal as the France centre-back appeared to be joining Juventus.
However, he now is on the cusp of sealing a move to the London Stadium.
Via X, Romano shared the image and wrote: “Exclusive pic of Jean-Clair Todibo with West Ham director Tim Steidten in London after the mission! Tim Steidten’s blitz in Nice and hijack revealed in last 24h made the difference to get the deal done. Todibo will sign for WHUFC in the next hours. Massive one.”
Tim Steidten deserves all the credit for West Ham pulling off the Jean-Clair Todibo deal
Steidten has been instrumental in transforming the Hammers’ transfer strategy, as evidenced by the club’s successful pursuit of Todibo.
His quick and decisive action effectively hijacked Todibo’s potential move to Juventus and secured the defender’s transfer to the London Stadium.
This demonstrates Steidten’s ability to identify and secure key targets for the club, enhancing their competitiveness and squad depth.
Julen Lopetegui has been well-backed by the club this summer, with Steidten playing a crucial role in providing the necessary resources for the manager to build a strong team.
The successful acquisition of Todibo, along with other notable signings, showcases the club’s commitment to supporting Lopetegui’s vision and ambitions.
This backing is essential for Lopetegui to implement his strategies effectively and to compete at a high level in the upcoming season.
In other West Ham news, Arsenal and Newcastle have made late moves to hijack Spurs’ deal to secure the services of a Hammers player this summer.
