Jarrod Bowen transfer: ‘Clubs to line up’ after West Ham United development
Jarrod Bowen stood out for West Ham United as they drew 1-1 against Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday at the London Stadium.
Graham Potter’s team hosted the Saints on 19 April, with the home side dropping two points after Lesley Ugochukwu’s stoppage-time equaliser.
Bowen opened the scoring at the London Stadium, but the Hammers were unable to capitalise on their lead and paid the price in the end.
The England international has thrived at the Irons over the years, and several clubs could potentially line up to sign him soon.

West Ham to receive multiple offers for Bowen transfer if exit considered
Multiple clubs will form a queue for Bowen if an exit from the East London outfit is on the cards, Henry Winter says.
The World Soccer journalist believes the 28-year-old forward may attract significant interest if there’s any indication that he’d leave the Hammers in the coming months.
Competition (2024/25) | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
Premier League | 29 | 9 | 7 |
Winter isn’t aware whether the English winger wants to leave the Irons, but if the possibility were to arise, there wouldn’t be a lack of suitors for him.
Speaking on talkSPORT (20 April, 9:26), the journalist said: “I think if there was any indication he would leave West Ham, I’m not saying there is, I’d think there’d be a queue of clubs.”
London Stadium to lose captain if things get worse under Potter
Potter’s tenure at the London Stadium has been underwhelming so far, and it isn’t surprising to see questions being raised about his future.
The English manager’s record since replacing Julen Lopetegui has been below par, and David Sullivan may soon have to make another managerial change.
With the Hammers close to the bottom of the table, the best players at the East London outfit will arguably want to fulfil their ambitions elsewhere.
West Ham could potentially be forced to sell Bowen soon, as the Englishman may look to have a chance of lifting more silverware elsewhere as he reaches the peak years of his career.
As things stand, the Hammers don’t look anywhere near as good as the team that won the UEFA Conference League title under David Moyes.
The London Stadium faithful had hoped to make progress after their European triumph, but things have spiralled out of control instead.
While some expected the Irons to compete for a top-six finish in the Premier League this season after investing heavily in the squad, that hasn’t been the case.
The East London outfit will have a massive task on their hands to convince the likes of Bowen to continue for another season as they look to bring success back to E20.
