Jarrod Bowen reacts as West Ham announce permanent exit amid surprise development
West Ham have officially confirmed the exit of a first-team player.
At the time of writing, West Ham have completed the signings of three new players, two of whom have already made their debut for the Hammers in the Premier League.
Keiber Lamadrid is the latest arrival at the London Stadium, with one or two more expected before the transfer deadline on 2 February.
However, the Hammers have also had a lot of work to do in regard to outgoings, with the latest exit now confirmed by the club.

Guido Rodriguez exit confirmed in Instagram post
West Ham‘s midfield options have been poor this season, and yet that has been the area of the squad that has seen the most exit links.
James Ward-Prowse has been linked with Burnley, while Guido Rodríguez has been linked with a move to LaLiga outfit Valencia.
Now, the latter deal has been confirmed via a post on West Ham’s Instagram account, with the Argentinian midfielder putting pen to paper on a six-month contract until the end of the campaign.
Among those who have liked the post is former Hammers defender Emerson, and Jarrod Bowen, who has been mooted for an exit from West Ham himself.
However, the terms of the deal may come as a surprise after reports earlier in the week.
Have West Ham received a fee for Guido Rodriguez’s exit?
Just a few days ago, it was reported that West Ham were set to terminate Rodriguez’s deal at the London Stadium to allow him to pursue a new adventure elsewhere.
With his contract with the Irons due to expire in the summer, it was something to benefit all parties
However, in the same Instagram post announcing his exit, West Ham have revealed that they have received an “undisclosed fee” for his exit.
This will be nominal, at best, but it’s a minor boost to the Irons, who looked set to sanction his exit for nothing, having also signed him for the same amount back in 2024.
It remains to be seen if West Ham plan to replace him, but if not, it certainly rules out an exit for Ward-Prowse, despite his lack of involvement.
